2. Selected Data Protection Methods Used by the Operator

  1. Places for logging in and entering personal data are protected in the transmission layer (SSL certificate). This encrypts personal data and login data entered on the website on the user’s computer and can only be read on the target server.
  2. Personal data stored in the database is encrypted in such a way that only the Operator possessing the key can read it. This protects data in the event of theft of the database from the server.
  3. User passwords are stored in hashed form. The hashing function operates in a one-way manner – it is not possible to reverse its operation, which is currently the standard for storing user passwords.
  4. Two-factor authentication is used on the website, providing an additional form of protection for logging into the Service.
  5. For data protection, the Operator regularly performs backups.
  6. Regular software updates are an important element of data protection, involving the regular updating of all software components used by the Operator to process personal data, particularly software component updates.

3. Hosting

  1. The service is hosted (technically maintained) on servers provided by Google LLC.
  2. The hosting company, to ensure technical reliability, logs server-level activities. The following may be subject to logging:
    • Resources specified by URL identifier (requested resource addresses – pages, files)
    • Time of request arrival
    • Time of response sending
    • Client station name – identification performed by the HTTP protocol
    • Error information occurring during HTTP transaction processing
    • URL address of the previously visited page by the user (referer link) – in case the transition to the Service occurred through a link
    • User’s browser information
    • IP address information
    • Diagnostic information related to the process of independently ordering services through registrars on the website
    • Information related to handling email directed to the Operator and sent by the Operator

4. Your Rights and Additional Information on Data Use

  1. In some situations, the Administrator has the right to transfer your personal data to other recipients if it is necessary to perform the contract concluded with you or to fulfill obligations incumbent on the Administrator. This applies to such groups of recipients:
    • hosting company on the basis of entrustment
    • postal operators
    • operators of online chat solutions
    • authorized employees and associates who use data to achieve the purpose of the website’s operation
    • companies providing marketing services on behalf of the Administrator
  2. Your personal data processed by the Administrator will not be stored longer than necessary for the activities related to them specified by separate regulations (e.g., accounting regulations). In relation to marketing data, the data will not be processed for more than 3 years.

You have the right to object to the processing indicated in point 3.2 regarding the processing of personal data for the purpose of pursuing the legally justified interests of the Administrator, including profiling, however, the right to object cannot be exercised in the case of the existence of legally justified grounds for processing, overriding your interests, rights and freedoms, in particular establishing, investigating or defending claims.
  5. You have the right to lodge a complaint with the President of the Office for Personal Data Protection, ul. Stawki 2, 00-193 Warsaw, regarding the actions of the Administrator.
  6. Providing personal data is voluntary but necessary for the operation of the Service.
  7. Actions may be taken against you involving automated decision-making, including profiling, for the purpose of providing services under the concluded contract and for the purpose of conducting direct marketing by the Administrator.
  8. Personal data is transferred from third countries within the meaning of the provisions on personal data protection. This means that we send them outside the European Union.

5. Information in Forms

  1. The Service collects information voluntarily provided by the user, including personal data, if provided.
  2. The Service may store information about connection parameters (time stamp, IP address).
  3. In some cases, the Service may store information facilitating the connection of data in the form with the user’s email address filling out the form. In this case, the user’s email address appears inside the URL of the page containing the form.
  4. Data provided in the form is processed for the purpose resulting from the specific form function, e.g., to carry out the service request handling process or commercial contact, service registration, etc. Each time the context and description of the form clearly inform what it is used for.

7. Important Marketing Techniques

  1. The Operator uses statistical analysis of website traffic through Google Analytics (Google LLC. based in the USA). The Operator does not transmit any personal data to the service provider, only anonymized information. The service is based on the use of cookies on the end device. In terms of user preference information collected by the Google advertising network, the user can view and edit information resulting from cookies using the tool: https://www.google.com/ads/preferences/
  2. The Operator uses remarketing techniques, allowing to adjust advertising messages to the user’s behavior on the website, which may give the impression that the user’s personal data is being used for tracking, however, in practice, no personal data is transmitted from the Operator to the advertising operators. The technological condition for such activities is the enabled support for cookie files.
  3. The Operator uses Facebook pixel. This technology causes the Facebook service (Facebook Inc. based in the USA) to know that a particular person registered in it is using the Service. In this case, it is based on data for which it is the administrator, the Operator does not provide any additional personal data to the Facebook service. The service is based on the use of cookies on the end device.
  4. The Operator uses solutions automating the operation of the Service regarding users, e.g., sending an email to the user after visiting a specific subpage, provided that the user has consented to receive commercial correspondence from the Operator.

  2. Cookie files (so-called “cookies”) are IT data, in particular text files, which are stored in the Service User’s end device and are intended for using the Service’s websites.
